Psychiatric Medication Management That Looks at the Whole Picture

Zadie Engelberger, PA-C, provides thoughtful psychiatric medication management prioritizing explaining options and working with you instead of rushing or simply telling you what to take. Her style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and focused on understanding the person behind the symptoms.

Rather than approaching medication as the entire treatment plan, Zadie looks at how mental health may intersect with sleep, nutrition, physical health, relationships, life transitions, stress, and everyday functioning. Together, you’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, what you want to change, and whether medication may be one helpful part of that process.

A Collaborative Approach to Medication

Zadie believes you should understand your treatment—not simply be handed a prescription. Appointments include space to ask questions, discuss concerns, understand your options, and make informed decisions together.

Her approach emphasizes thoughtful prescribing, education, and realistic changes that support your overall mental health. She is also continuing advanced education in perinatal and maternal mental health to further support clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, and other reproductive life transitions.

Therapy + Psychiatric Care in One Practice

For clients who want both therapy and medication support, Still I Rise Counseling offers the option of receiving care from a collaborative team.

Aleighsha provides trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and specialized support for concerns including trauma, disordered eating, body image, and substance use, while Zadie provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

You can work with either provider independently or receive therapy and psychiatric medication management together, depending on what fits your needs.

Zadie is currently accepting new psychiatric medication management patients ages 13+ in Fort Walton Beach and via telehealth throughout Florida.
